Activities and volunteering suspended
It is with a heavy heart that Treverbyn Community Trust has had to make the difficult decision to suspend its staff and volunteer supported activities from Friday 7 February.
This decision has not been made lightly, but given the changing landscape and the financial challenges facing the charitable sector as a whole, regrettably we no longer have the resources to continue activities in the current manner.
Treverbyn Community Hall will remain open for independent activities and hire, and further updates will be provided in due course.
The Trust is deeply grateful for all the commitment shown by our staff and volunteers for helping to make a profound difference to so many of our residents, especially during the Covid pandemic.
About us
The Hall has suspended its classes and activities as of the 7th February 2025. The board of Trustees are working with funders and volunteers to reset the charity in order to provide activities and events in the future. The Hall continues to book external hirers for private hire at this time.
Located in a rural setting in the centre of Cornwall, the Hall is just 10 minutes from the A30 and A390, between Stenalees and Penwithick. Extended and refurbished in 2014, the Hall retained much of its original character whilst offering modern facilities in the main hall and three meeting rooms. From team meetings to private celebrations, community parties and social groups to interviews or staff training Treverbyn Community Hall is truly a hall for all.
Centrally located it offers a wide variety of benefits, including adjacent free parking, neighbouring park and community garden, wifi throughout and a happy helpful team who are on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly for you.
The Trust is deeply grateful for all the commitment shown by our staff and volunteers for helping to make a profound difference to so many of our residents, especially during the Covid pandemic.
The Hall is closed to the general public but continue to answer calls when staff are in the building and emails at info@thehall.org.uk fro external enquiries.
